Hanging around large groups of people under 18 cant be good for your mental health

my fifth grade teacher yelled at me for not wanting hot chocolate on a field trip because it was "disrespectful"

I had never tried drugs or even thought about wanting to drug them untill I was in a public high school

I had a teachers aide offer to sell me shrooms

my elementary school was like 90% black i was one of the only white kids there it was chaos

fights every day people smacking eachother with chairs like it was a WWE episode

I found enough scummy people to be around me so that I was never fucked with

no i barely talked so they thought i was autistic or something and the rest of the kids in the class actually protected me when people tried to mess with me

Our highschool literally had 0 fights but we still segregated ourselves by race

I was genuinely shocked to see the self segregation in HS. I was from a super sheltered upper middle class white middle school
