@Deleted User @Deleted User there is a reason white teenagers in America are put on SSRI's that lower your sex drive and birth control pills when they are 12

2018-09-13 00:33:22 UTC

get in vc if you want it

2018-09-13 00:34:03 UTC

Well. Before 16 they have to ask their parents for birth control.

2018-09-13 00:34:24 UTC

You can walk into most pharmacies in America and ask for birth control and they have to give it to you regardless of age

2018-09-13 00:34:26 UTC

by law

2018-09-13 00:35:32 UTC

it's different from state to state but that's how it works here

2018-09-13 00:39:38 UTC

There are very few states that don’t require a prescription for birth control. You have to be 18+ to buy plan b too

2018-09-13 00:39:51 UTC

(I’m a pharmacist in GA)

2018-09-13 00:40:15 UTC

Regardless it’s semantics. I get what you’re saying and I agree with you

2018-09-13 00:44:45 UTC

male abortions

2018-09-13 00:44:57 UTC

how soon until they lobby for male abortins

2018-09-13 00:45:41 UTC

@Deleted User they are sterilizing the population

2018-09-13 00:46:45 UTC

That they are. In multiple ways

2018-09-13 00:48:55 UTC

@Deleted User Why are SSRI drugs prescribed so often when no solid evidence of them working has ever come out?

2018-09-13 00:49:25 UTC

There is evidence they work

2018-09-13 00:49:31 UTC

^

2018-09-13 00:50:06 UTC

they are a treatment and not a cure, however

2018-09-13 00:50:26 UTC

which unfortunately is a misconception the media will never try to dispel

2018-09-13 00:50:46 UTC

@Toast @Deleted User most of the studies that are done on these drugs are funded by the people making the drugs

2018-09-13 00:51:25 UTC

That’s exactly true toast. All of that is simply meant to be a tool to get you through to where you’re not depressed anymore they were never meant to be sending that you’re on for life only temporary

2018-09-13 00:52:08 UTC

That’s true of all medicine and most medical studies

2018-09-13 00:52:13 UTC

@RustyShackleford and there are studies that arent, that are peer reviewed by groups not involved with these corporations. you can also interact with a real live person on ssris to know that they work to quell badfeel but they dont bring about much actual help towards resolving depression

2018-09-13 00:52:22 UTC

ssris are best for getting depressed people off their asses

2018-09-13 00:53:00 UTC

Toast once again is correct

2018-09-13 00:53:25 UTC

the reason why a lot of studies are done on certain drugs by the companies with stake in them is because they have to do these studies to know the long term effects and whether they should be released to the public

2018-09-13 00:53:44 UTC

well, in this case, short term effects

2018-09-13 00:53:57 UTC

we dont really know about ssris yet

2018-09-13 00:54:04 UTC

(i think, im no expert)

2018-09-13 00:54:30 UTC

That is true

2018-09-13 00:54:43 UTC

Nah I mean I've met people who benefited from SSRI's

2018-09-13 00:55:05 UTC

the overprescribing

2018-09-13 00:55:10 UTC

to people who aren't depressed

2018-09-13 00:55:17 UTC

i agree that that is a travesty

2018-09-13 00:55:28 UTC

I was put on Zoloft when I was 11-12 and I had an anxiety disorder not depression

2018-09-13 00:55:31 UTC

it did nothing

2018-09-13 00:55:47 UTC

just made me lose my sex drive

2018-09-13 00:55:57 UTC

So I stopped taking them

2018-09-13 00:56:54 UTC

i have had the choice between taking ssris and not and thankfully i chose not to, but i have a close friend who was made infertile by his antidepressants (which he eventually stopped taking because theyd no longer do anything and he became addicted)
