ABILENE, Texas — Police say a father and son shot and killed a neighbor in a dispute over trash.

John Miller, 67, and Michael Miller, 31, are both charged with murder.

Chief Stan Standridge said they got calls at 10:17 a.m. about shots fired in the area of South 3rd and Don Juan streets.

When they arrived, police found Aaron Howard, 37, in the alley. He had been shot at least twice.

Howard was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
