also, this doesn't highlight the ugliness of warfare but actually the ugliness of this aircrew's attitudes...one would think that while fighting a war that one wouldn't want to demean fellow citizens/soldiers/airmen/etc...
i'm all about learning from the ugly side of history, having studied it actually in college actually
so i also know that people like to use that ugliness to promote their own ugly views while trying to shroud it as simply illuminating the past....this is what i was wondering about
