I'm relatively new to this sub, and I can only speak for myself. What I hope for is to get much fatter than I already am, and I'm already pretty fat, 328lbs as of this morning. I want to get to at least 450lbs, and I'm kinda hoping I can't stop even if I want to when I get there. I do want my obesity to affect my life, I want it to be exhausting and humiliating to waddle around. This is the kind of thing that gets my dick hard to put it bluntly.
While dying from it is not one of my goals, and it honestly scares me, I accept that my desire to get enormously obese will probably lead to an early death. To put it succinctly, I'm dying to be fat, not fat to be dying.

As I said in my first reply, because it gets my dick hard. It always has. My first orgasm was from imagining myself shape shifting into a fat person, and every one since has incorporated some aspect of being fat or getting fatter. Actually getting fat in real life and not just fantasy has greatly improved my orgasms. I can now look down at my own fat belly and get hard from what I've done to myself. Imagining how much bigger it's going to get makes it even better.
If your asking why being fat and getting fatter turn me on, I can't really answer that. I don't think anyone can really explain why certain things turn them on.
