Rolling Stone(I think) did an incredible piece on the first Wachowski's involvement in the drug and BDSM subcultures in LA and how they may have led to him "discovering his femininity", but it got removed once trannies became fashionable and they realized the article could become a problem for them in the future. The guy was basically living out a drug-fueled 24/7 sissy fantasy, and going tranny was just the next step in that whole experience.
In reality most trannies "discover they're women" in the same way. Show me a straight-edge tranny without a history of heavy sexual deviancy/fetishism dating back to years before they decided they were women. You can't. They're all out of their minds on drugs, meds and autofetishism.
