with a tag?
and apparently this person knew the dog and the owner
With, apparently from what the owner said, very obvious posters saying MISSING DOG around the entire neighborhood
Posts across all the local social media as well
With him actively knocking on peoples doors to ask if theyd seen it
that sucks they should do better to keep their animals from getting out
Having an animal get out is a very real possibility for literally any dog/cat owner
yes i know
that dog violated the NAP BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM
inevitability
i have several animals
I made a picture of JFK getting killed by an unknown needler
based
my neighbors nigger pitbulls got out the other day
3 of them just padding around the neighborhood no collars no tags
i dont think thats equivalent
i think people need to take responsibility for their animals or better yet not own dogs if they can't handle them
Comparing pitbulls to what was very obviously a purebred shepherd is not the same at all
ive owned dogs my entire life and ive never seen a dog that hasnt escaped
a normal reaction is to contact the owners on the tag
You could literally just call out to the dog in a friendly voice and be immediately able to tell their temperament or if they're rabid
wait a shepherd got shot? yeah ok thats cringe
i have a dog
she's a black lab/border collie mix and she's never gotten out unless we let her out
🤞
Mines never gotten out either admittedly but yeah fingers crossed
Though one time he slipped off the leash while hiking and tried to swim out in to the middle of a lake
if you're gonna leave your dog in your yard it should be on a leash line
they make ones that you string up so the dog can run around
Actually the leash BROKE
i don't trust people enough to assume every dog with a tag is properly vaccinated and trained
my overweight 50 lb beagle/lab managed to jump over our chain link fence multiple times
I get that and understand that, but it's not normal to shoot what is obviously someone's dog
call animal control
i know some dogs that can somehow get over privacy fences
yeah dogs can get thru invisible fences or dig under or whatever
certain breeds are very good at escaping
and yeah i wouldn't shoot first either obviously animal control is the first choice but i still think people need to stop treating animals like furry children that don't need to be properly handled
my dog is smart and curious so for her own safety if she's out in the yard we leash her up so she can't get out
