no? The article I got it from says it's 7-10x faster than anything else out there

2018-12-08 21:26:09 UTC

I mean, It's pretty beefy with those rails, so I guess they don't have to worry about skipping steps

I thought scientists knew that the sun was a liquid and not a gas, but apparently, all of modern astro-physics is based off of the sun being a gas... I'm no scientist, but TIL.

2018-12-09 04:31:10 UTC

2018-12-09 17:13:53 UTC

The video posted by MIT is fake?

2018-12-09 17:18:01 UTC

wouldnt be suprised

2018-12-09 17:21:01 UTC

None of the comments suggest the video is fake

2018-12-09 17:23:41 UTC

Someone did say that a normal printer with the right settings could print at those speeds

2018-12-09 17:24:57 UTC

And I'm pretty sure that the best thing that printer has is a very sturdy frame

2018-12-09 17:28:23 UTC

And the fact that the only video evidence is a very short, low quality video, of the printer making some random layers, instead of showing the beginning and a substantial part of the print is pretty suspicious

2018-12-09 17:29:04 UTC

But again, maybe it's actually good and I'm just being a retard

2018-12-09 17:33:11 UTC

The article essentially said that it's a normal printer with hot air being blown over the bed, and some extruder adjustments, as well as a unique filament.
