"Have you ever wanted to build something, but you're retarded?
"Ever tried to learn coding, but suck dick and cant use search?
"Have you ever dreamed of having a small starter pack of cheap chinese modules, *but in a really fancy case*?"

Literally basically their kickstarter video

kek

2018-10-26 11:58:00 UTC

the case isn't even that nice

2018-10-26 12:49:57 UTC

that case is legit big enough to hold 2 breadboards

2018-10-26 12:52:27 UTC

this is a little better but i did it in just a few minutes

2018-10-26 18:34:15 UTC

@M4Gunner HAHAHA I've seen 14 years old solder and they didn't manage to make such a shabby job

2018-10-26 18:34:46 UTC

joking, you could use some practice, but if you are just learing it's not that bad at all

2018-10-26 18:37:17 UTC

be careful, some of those look like cold joints (I'm not sure how they are called in english), which means that they look to be connected, but the sligthest movement causes them to, well, not conduce electricity

2018-10-26 18:37:28 UTC

while still looking connected no less

2018-10-26 18:52:35 UTC

I'll have to test for that

2018-10-26 18:54:32 UTC

can you give me a redline 🤣

2018-10-26 18:55:19 UTC

is it just the biggest globby joints?

2018-10-26 19:12:20 UTC

those too

2018-10-26 19:13:24 UTC

it's difficult to spot because they are going to work diring the test. But at random times they will fail, say, because the component heats up and something expands, or just plain mechanical stess

2018-10-26 19:19:01 UTC

but really, it's not going to happen. It's a pretty easy circuit, you should be fine. Just remember it can happen and you will save yourself days of headaches.

How do you think Trump’s phone got monitored by China and Russia? Do you think he wasn’t keeping his software up to date?

2018-10-27 04:23:54 UTC

chinese firmware

2018-10-27 04:26:40 UTC

@Ondsinet thanks. its difficult to tell what to look for, as those dont look much crappier than the surrounding joints

2018-10-27 04:31:45 UTC

I'm thinking i could stress-test the Nano's joints by simply mounting it to my little UGV, which suffers from vibration enough it tends to knock screws out -- so if a ledpin cut out on hardwood, it should flicker at least

2018-10-27 04:34:16 UTC

in fact all my work with little ground vehicles will have to assume a "high-vibration environment"

toiny moicros

2018-10-27 05:01:00 UTC

btw i did NOT mean to order these in SMD and am retarded

2018-10-27 06:08:04 UTC

they look alot like bios chips

2018-10-27 06:30:03 UTC

theyre more like a stripped down arduino cpu

2018-10-27 07:31:53 UTC

not easy putting that little shit on is it?

2018-10-27 07:41:39 UTC

my hand was jerking pretty violently trying to keep it still, and my phone can see it better than i can

2018-10-27 07:42:05 UTC

those should be done by a machine, and only a human if they absolutely have to

2018-10-27 07:43:02 UTC

ive already reordered them in DIP 😂 🔫

2018-10-27 07:43:03 UTC

Smd it's feasible

2018-10-27 16:31:52 UTC

too smol

2018-10-27 16:32:06 UTC

im gonna have to get some thinner solder than .5mm
