I can get a decent turbo with no play for $40-50 for that kind of thing

it's only the high performance turbos that get a little costly

there's plenty of small low boost ones around that aren't an issue

the lack of starter and alternator is annoying

also I'm not sure if I'd want to pair it to a different transmission or try to reuse the garbage tranny they came with

4th gear: 2800rpm

5th: 2k

6th: 1700

I mean it sounds reasonable but 2k is really too low for trying to pass someone, while 1700 works just fine for cruising.

And they all have roughly the same amount of power.

They actually might get rid of the manual for the cruze now that fuel economy standards have been relaxed. It was basjcally the only reason they made it.

Got great fuel economy, but they actually made money on the sales unlike most of their hybrids
