On what list?
Just above fiat
What are you referring to?
Most notably consumer reports. I will grant you that any reliability listing is questionable tho
Even so, i hear nothing good about modern mercs
Except in performance and comfort
They're above Ford on both JD Power and Consumer Reports' current lists, nowhere near Dodge, Consumer Reports also didn't rank Fiat at all.
Might be from a few months ago then
I'd also like to see a breakdown of mercedes reliability in terms of cars vs suvs
my guess is their suvs are wrecking their reliability
That is a worthy question.
I mean these reports are annual.
And I'm looking at the most recent one.
because the c and e class are both very well rated for reliability
They don't put out annual reports every few months.
The last time i looked at those was when i was looking for a car
Last year
Link what you're actually talking about to make it easier.
Ergo...
I could try to find it. The one i saw was in print tho
It also shows the point changes from the last one.
Was reading it while on break
http://www.jdpower.com/press-releases/jd-power-2018-us-vehicle-dependability-study Both of these have pretty similar results.
Eh will concede
May have been thinking of their suvs and remembering incorrectly
Well I mean just link even some evidence to support your statement because it makes no sense to me and I've been following this stuff since the early 90s.
Amd i follow it sporadically unless i am looking for a car.
Using Consumer reports or JD Power to buy a car is shit you shouldn't be doing under the age of 60
@sexytortoiseloverboy i dont view them as gospel.
The fact that they even still exist is insane
It's such a huge scheme
There is nothing wrong with using them as a single data point.
...
Okay not even arguing that one
You keep on thinking that
I mean it is
K
I only use jalopnik for buying vehicles
They do these "reports" and sell their brand to automotive companies
