Officially reported that is
well that gives you the "official" mpg and what owners are getting
Just for the sake of annoying matt
Yeah, the whole point of that link is real world fuel economy.
The old 2.0L diesel cruze
Most people average 38 to 42mpg.
And this is an automatic and an older engine
Why would that annoy me?
I was being facetious
Because you got salty about me mentioning the cruze a ton
38 to 42 for a diesel is pretty bad
My friend gets about the same mpg in his gasoline Focus.
Are you telling me you're getting worse than that in your car?
If so you're doing something wrong.
I have a manual
A smaller, less powerful engine
And it's newer
This diesel is older, auto only, and has more power
I don't think you're using those words wrong either, I was saying bring up the Cruze is dumb, it doesn't make me angry, it just had nothing to do with the topic.
Ok, well you just argued that manuals get better mpg in an economy car like the cruze.
Yes
This is a diesel
So you having a manual should be an advantage.
It is
Did you mean to say "I don't think you're using those words right either"
Yes I did, thank you.
Which is why I was excited by the concept at least of the newer cruze having a diesel and a manual
Although I think 1.6L is too small for a diesel
I think you had the previous line in your head so your brain made a quick parallel which just didn't happen to work
My point is, what kind of mileage are you getting in your cruze with a manual if you think 38 is good for that type of car?
About 37. But again, I have less power, a manual, and a newer engine
I want to point out here before we go further
Current diesel
That the Cruze is even more gay than most Subarus.
Gets 50mpg easily
So you're not making your case there.
My case is literally that diesels are pretty okay
Well you have no counter to my case that diesels are really gay
