You always have the option of buying after a need for it arises.
lol
I probably won't be too worried living on an air base
I'm thinking of going with the Walther PPQ Crowder was talking about. He got me sold on it.
I was hoping around $500 as I'm pretty sure the enlistment bonus is 2k but I'm fine with the $650 price tag on the PPQ. https://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?item=2796066
looks like there are some different variations but I'm not sure what to look for really
I'm curious why an extra inch of barrel length adds a hundred dollars...
anybody got an infographic / internet resource / youtube video for understanding different caliber bullets?
What kind?
Rifle
Or pistol?
pistol
I would recommend 9mm
Cheap
Consistent
Lightweight
what's the difference to a .40?
Holds kore rounds per mag
PPQ comes in 9mm and .40
.40 is larger
Was cut down from a 10mm
what does grain refer to on a bullet?
The weight of the round
more expensive than a 9mm?
Yes
By about 10 cents per round
I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the 5 inch barrel rather than the 4 inch on the PPQ, an extra $100 for a gun that I'm guessing will feel a little better to shoot
seems reasonable for a starter
Is it for conceal carry?
not sure yet
watched a video and they said the five inch can still be conceal carried
Just depends on what you are comfortable with
Actually now that I think about it I'm definitely going to want conceal carry if I'm out and about off base.
You would be surprised how uncomfortable it is to conceal a larger weapon with out printing the weapon
printing?
The ability to see the weapon against your clothes
Hmm well I got some time to consider it, a few months at least.
Hopefully I can get a chance to try out both kinds.
Yea i would try to shoot both calibers before buying for sure
