So that lifting gun control won't end in disaster
At least something like gun responsibility training in school
Anything really
Else you'll be lifting the pen from the sheep who've forgotten how wolves look like
You are saying:
Step 1: Educate the populace on gun ownership
Step 2: Make guns legal
Yes
Both are impossible via legislation.
🤔
You think your politicians would allow that? The same ones that allow themselves to be raped by Brussels?
I'm giving an instruction manual
It's not my fault they don't follow it
Attempting to ban weapons is not nessesarly new
The other alternative is a violent revolution and I'm not sure that's a good idea 🤔
If it can be avoided
Define 'violent'
Elections are forceful violence <:GWragMonkaS:390321742624849920>
Kek
But unironically
Well if the culture manages to switch enough on its own good on the people for voting for gun rights
That is why rule of law is greater than democracy in our republic
I highly doubt you could get something like this on a ballot.
But.... there's a possible solution soon with the US legalizing 3D printed firearms
It is not legalized
They just realized they could not constitutionally ban it
It was always protected under free speech
Either way, it's effectively legal
Well 3d printing is going to put a massive strike through the concept of gun control
Not trying to be disagreeable
It practically forces governments to either legalize it or become incredibly draconian
Just saying that legal not legal presupposes that it hinges on the government
^^
Instead of inherent rights
America got its culture of gunsmithing from the Germans. Soon, it will be the other way around
Germans would probably still be Tier 0 if they didn't hate themselves so much
In guns specifically at least
But whatever
The fact that it's an inherent right in the US constitution underlines how much of a cultural thing it is
Since it was drafted by what comes close to people's revolutionaries
It's not our 'culture', it's human nature. Your culture just brainwashed you into thinking it's 'bad'. That's my point.
We wrote it down, because the Brits introduced a new law that was going to take away firearms from Americans
Well calling the professionals instead of running headfirst into someone who is not only prepared but also has the initiative has its pragmatic arguments
