Paul Harrel is a god and that video has a lot of good info.

2018-07-27 18:34:27 UTC

Yeah, of course firing a gun in the air in an Incorporated area where it's illegal would get you in trouble

2018-07-27 18:35:09 UTC

If you're UNincorporated though and it's your property, then it's legal to shoot in the air? Maybe it's legal then?

2018-07-27 18:37:24 UTC

in Texas, it is not legal to fire a bullet over a public road or outside your property. (or outside of the property you have permission to be on) you are responsible for that round and any damages it does beyond your property

2018-07-27 18:38:13 UTC

if you're lucky enough to have enough land to contain a rifle round then congratulations you are a very rich person. either that or you bought an old garbage dump

2018-07-27 18:40:21 UTC

that's where the 4 rules of gun safety come into play and what's neat about them is that you have to break 2 of them in order to have a 'bad time'

2018-07-27 18:41:03 UTC

so, if a court of law finds out that you were being negligent with a gun prior to shooting someone (IE a warning shot) how do you think that will look to a jury?

2018-07-27 18:41:34 UTC

it won't be good, i can tell you that

2018-07-27 18:42:03 UTC

and at the very least you'll be stuck with a defense lawyer's bill and good ones are not cheap

2018-07-27 18:42:32 UTC

I get what you're saying, I'm just arguing the point that the "warning shot" isn't illegal per se

2018-07-27 18:42:56 UTC

Seems about time to repost these two

2018-07-27 18:43:01 UTC

But negligent use of a firearm in the defense of your property is

2018-07-27 18:43:27 UTC

it technically is legal if all the parameters are met however it does not look good in a shooting scenario

2018-07-27 18:43:35 UTC

Right

2018-07-27 18:44:00 UTC

That's why you put a flashlight on your AR

2018-07-27 18:53:00 UTC

@Fitzydog yup! everyone of my nightime guns have one on it

2018-07-27 23:51:17 UTC

i spent $700 on gun parts today. $1300 to go

2018-07-28 01:46:10 UTC

BAHAHAHA

2018-07-28 07:09:33 UTC

wait did it happen again?

2018-07-28 07:09:56 UTC

Did they reclassify DD's stuff again as something non-exportable, or was this the first mishap

2018-07-28 10:45:22 UTC

what happened?

2018-07-28 12:06:42 UTC

**Forgotten Weapons** Uploaded a new youtube video!

@OliveBlanc This is a statement from the State Department on their revised enforcement of ITAR following their settlement with DD, and is particularly useful for the "weapons of war" argument gun controllers scream about because Cody managed to twist the arm of the State Dept. to classify military equipment outside of the realm of AR-15's and other common civilian weapons

2018-07-28 18:30:05 UTC

Hahaha I remember this!

2018-07-28 20:14:08 UTC

I was super tired and read exclude as include

2018-07-28 20:14:17 UTC

and I was really confused for awhile

2018-07-28 21:05:30 UTC

Hey, guys. I own a shotgun (not a Remington as depicted in link) and will be purchasing a new stock/forend from Magpul and was wanting some input on what others thought looked better: the beige ("FDE"/"Flat Dark Earth") or black?

2018-07-28 21:09:11 UTC

do you have the mossberg?

2018-07-28 21:17:54 UTC
