Exactly

2018-07-14 14:43:21 UTC

Meaning

2018-07-14 14:43:29 UTC

People are not hitting the books

2018-07-14 14:43:36 UTC

As much as they should

2018-07-14 14:43:51 UTC

Also probably have shitty teachers to boot

2018-07-14 14:44:03 UTC

But remember, always take the sources with a grain of salt.

2018-07-14 15:31:36 UTC

The worst part is younger people don't like how life is because reality hits you hard to begin with.

2018-07-14 15:31:40 UTC

Then you get used to it.

2018-07-14 15:31:53 UTC

They want some sort of "perfect system" that simply doesn't exist.

2018-07-14 15:47:21 UTC

Maw, I blame that on the restrictuons put on parenting every day. Parents are supposed to be able to show them over time that life is harsh but you carry on. Well if you do any of that these days it is seen as child abuse

2018-07-14 15:49:58 UTC

Yeah, there's certainly an element of discipline that's disappeared.

2018-07-14 15:50:08 UTC

Police in particular.

2018-07-14 15:50:15 UTC

Having to deal with all sorts of red tape.

2018-07-14 15:50:26 UTC

Sometimes even disarmed all together.

2018-07-14 15:51:27 UTC

The result is 30 cops surrounding one man with a machete, and not being able to do anything!

2018-07-14 15:51:48 UTC

Parents have been defanged far more than the police tho. And Parents are the direct responsible for children.

2018-07-14 15:51:48 UTC

IT's not the only video of that sort of thing, either 👌

2018-07-14 15:51:58 UTC

Seems like a good time to repost this video, too

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL1etWVFRq0

2018-07-14 15:52:30 UTC

Yeah people make false claims

2018-07-14 15:52:32 UTC

Donut Operator debunks all of it

2018-07-14 15:53:02 UTC

I find a bodycam a positive and negative

2018-07-14 15:53:43 UTC

"last week we had eight murders, all under the age of 17, all knives"

2018-07-14 16:00:20 UTC

The 'difference between' video seemed to be implying the UK cops did better because they didn't have guns

Yet the footage they used made them look... less than competent, for the most part

2018-07-14 16:00:34 UTC

They're tasing this one guy, someone's filming it all with a smartphone

You can see the puddles of blood on the floor so the guy they're tasing has already stabbed someone

And someone off to the side whispers to the camera holder "that guy got tased six times"

2018-07-14 16:04:52 UTC

one of the major reasons cops dont shoot to wound is much like the military, if it has escalated to guns shoit to wound isnt a smart ploy. As well warning shots and shoot to wound can end up hitting an innocent bystander

2018-07-14 16:12:59 UTC

yeah

2018-07-14 16:13:03 UTC

was talking about this earlier today

2018-07-14 16:13:03 UTC

Shooting in general can lead to hitting accidental bystanders no matter where you shoot.

2018-07-14 16:13:15 UTC

But wounding does not put you down as quickly.

2018-07-14 16:13:21 UTC

Which is the point.

2018-07-14 16:13:25 UTC

it's like dude, you pull a gun out in a public place, then you should be prepared to fire that at someone and kill them

2018-07-14 16:13:32 UTC

otherwise resort to something else
