Taxes are theft when you're paying into something that you're not taking advantage of, I agree.

But we take advantage of most things we pay taxes for right now.

A lot of public services need funding.

As I said before. Taxes aren't the price we pay for civilization. It's the price we pay for not being civilizated enough.

I pay roughly 30% tax sure. But I was hospitalized for 3 months

There is literally no transaction for fire departments.

I think the police force is a better example.

Fire departments are purely beneficial to society, and you don't have to directly pay them.

It's entirely publicly funded.

People seem to forget that socialized healthcare doesn't cover a lot of things.

E.g: Canada.
