Again, do you all remember 2010? Same situation

2018-11-07 06:43:52 UTC

Obama was not stopped

2018-11-07 06:44:01 UTC

Yeah, but most people ignore the gov here and just do what they want

2018-11-07 06:44:06 UTC

Republicans are more fragmented than Dems.

2018-11-07 06:44:09 UTC

especially in the country

2018-11-07 06:44:41 UTC

Point is, this is hardly some massive victory for the democratic party. They stand to *lose* senate seats so far

2018-11-07 06:44:43 UTC

Right now reps are fragmented cause there are so many never trumpers. they can't get behind a single vision

2018-11-07 06:44:51 UTC

Republican Sub Parties will litterally side with dems to fuck other subparties

2018-11-07 06:44:52 UTC

Texas could use an infusion of MAGA voters to counter the California refugees tbh

2018-11-07 06:44:59 UTC

Lose Texas, Lose America

2018-11-07 06:45:14 UTC

Just give it time. The current democratic platform is not sustainable

2018-11-07 06:45:21 UTC

You guys really need some more independents

2018-11-07 06:45:25 UTC

The platform doesn't matter

2018-11-07 06:45:27 UTC

We really do

2018-11-07 06:45:33 UTC

to counter the whole party bullshit

2018-11-07 06:45:34 UTC

How can you say it's not sustainable when the Dems just rose from the dead?

2018-11-07 06:45:38 UTC

Dem Politicians toe the line or get Bernied

2018-11-07 06:45:45 UTC

Jesus christ you people are blackpilled

2018-11-07 06:45:47 UTC

like, the Dems will keep doing whatever they did to convince voters to vote for them this time

2018-11-07 06:45:56 UTC

They'll get a 20 seat lead if they're lucky

2018-11-07 06:46:05 UTC

The one good (?) thing about people getting so stressed out at each other and throwing polite pretenses out the window (think Clinton's "comments to the effect of "we can't be civil with these people"; etc) is that more people may see these political figures for who they really are. The push for going more in the direction of socialism reflects this; at least there's slightly less guile there. The question will be this: will voters be well-educated enough to what they're seeing form the left, on policy and character, is nothing but bad news?

2018-11-07 06:46:11 UTC

Right now they are 3 seats ahead

2018-11-07 06:46:25 UTC

They will have a teeny majority in one half of one branch of government

2018-11-07 06:46:26 UTC

23 flips were needed to match in the house

2018-11-07 06:46:26 UTC

I think the answer is no on educated voters, CLEARLY

2018-11-07 06:46:49 UTC

I hate the term Educated voters

2018-11-07 06:47:00 UTC

Don't forget, Floki, we wanted to only defend the house by a comfy enough margin,

2018-11-07 06:47:03 UTC

we outright lost it

2018-11-07 06:47:08 UTC

It just means you know how to get huge debt

2018-11-07 06:47:29 UTC

Wrong educated

2018-11-07 06:47:29 UTC

You people are acting like this was a rout when it was a pyrrhic victory for the democrats, if even a victory at all

2018-11-07 06:47:43 UTC

Dude. No one says it was a Rout

2018-11-07 06:47:52 UTC

But it was more than a Pyrrhic victory

2018-11-07 06:47:57 UTC

Let's see what 2020 has to say, then, and let's check in on the ever bluer Texas at that time

2018-11-07 06:48:00 UTC

Losing senate seats?

2018-11-07 06:48:12 UTC

Yeah. That's the thing. Not nearly enough people know the things they should. There would be much less confusion and strife if people read their Sowells and Friendmans, or at least the original documents.

2018-11-07 06:48:12 UTC

Fuck no, A route would be if the senate was lost as well

2018-11-07 06:48:13 UTC

Senate isn't the only group that makes laws

2018-11-07 06:48:27 UTC

They're the group responsible for confirming appointments

2018-11-07 06:48:32 UTC

THe only bonus to the Senate is appointments

2018-11-07 06:48:39 UTC

That's a big fucking bonus
