Don't underestimate them if they find a desire to accomplish this

It makes sense from their perspective financially, if the US pulls out or decreases our spending

the problem is down to money, EU may claim they are rich, but most EU nations is already on the brake point of what they can handle of taxes and with UK leaving that is going to be a huge gap in the budget that the rest need to fill
