@Fitzydog you still keeping your oath?
And then we've got Cyprus.
Honestly, just exterminate the Turks
You're god damned right I am. I'm on this freedom boat until the day it sinks.
It's the *idea* it represents that counts, not the location.
Who here's ready for geo-political tensions to fucking bananas when the new Greek government has to deal with Turkey and Cyprus?
So what if the Capitol is in Cheyenne? lol
I want to unironically force the Turks on a trail of tears back to their homelands
lol
I mean, if Greece gets Cyprus, they'll be fucking loaded.
And then Britain has yet another ally that hates the EU.
Yeah my ex was Greek. She would always talk shit about how Turkey and Cyprus "is their land".
It is
It is their land.
Smyrna should be Greek, change my mind.
WE WILL RETAKE CONSTANTINOPLE.
Turkey has no claim over Cyprus.
Turks have no place in Anatolia
They need to driven back to their homeland in Central Asia
Well, they illegally invaded and told the Kurds and Armenians to fuck off.
Those poor central Asians don't deserve that
^
I mean, *technically.* Do the Kazakhs really deserve people from Turkey though?
To be fair, the Ottoman Empire did stabilise the region and it is somewhat fair that they have that as consolation for being split up by the Allies.
BUT
They did also wage a genocidal campaign against the Armenians.
Like they have no claim over Anatolia.
Legally speaking, technically.
But then there's the other side of that coin.
They have a long-established ethnic and administrative presence there, so Anatolia isn't quite black and white.
Culturally, it is *very* Turkish.
I mean, that was established by killing the people that wouldn't assimilate, though.
That's true.
But like
Can you redraw the borders of the Middle East now differently from the Sykes-Picot Agreement?
No, it's too long-standing.
It wouldn't be practical.
With Cyprus, the vast majority are Greek Cypriots.
The government is formerly Greek.
And Turkey invaded unlawfully.
isn't there still demilitarized zones in Cyprus?
