Walls don't work, they simply postpone the problem. Say you build a wall, yes, in the first years illegal crossing will radically drop. But people aren't stupid, if there's money to be made people will find a way. Immigrants will begin to use alternatives, go by sea, under the wall, over the wall (either jumping it, or simply by flying in). Remember that more than half of illegal immigration is overstayed visas.... Walls don't work, they're a temporary solution to a long term/permanent problem
