We don't want or need most of Europe.

2019-02-12 23:24:27 UTC

Poland / Key ally, choose one

2019-02-12 23:24:49 UTC

spain / competent, choose one

2019-02-12 23:24:49 UTC

We sat there because of the USSR and they are gone now

2019-02-12 23:25:35 UTC
2019-02-12 23:25:38 UTC

Run your countries yourselves, stop taking aid from the US.

2019-02-12 23:25:52 UTC

Aid?

2019-02-12 23:26:08 UTC

but hey at least the *iranians* aren't the imperalist us

2019-02-12 23:26:15 UTC

Norway are a better ally to the US as we do supply them with all the Sea to sea and sea to land missiles, the alloys for the new F35 fights and train marines in surviving in sub zero temperatures without loosing toes and more and the US have a trade surplus to us

2019-02-12 23:26:18 UTC

Yes the billions of dollars we send to Europe in foreign aid, that is bankrupting us

2019-02-12 23:26:40 UTC

2019-02-12 23:27:24 UTC

2019-02-12 23:28:07 UTC

As far as I know it's EU and NATO countries purchasing US military stock like any other customer, providing jobs for your massive military industry

2019-02-12 23:29:57 UTC

Our military industry? Oh you kean all the guns we buy from Italy, and the missiles from Denmark, or was it Norway?

2019-02-12 23:30:47 UTC

You buy our aircraft and some guns, ammo.

2019-02-12 23:31:00 UTC

boi

2019-02-12 23:31:14 UTC

Most of your vehicles are produced in Europe

2019-02-12 23:31:15 UTC

The global trade, you know that everyone uses, never existed before. Europe's 'trade' was sequestered imperial system where when you wanted trade you blew up each other's navies to get it. Then in the middle of the last century there was only one navy. The largest that ever existed on the planet. And we said, "everyone gets to trade." And everyone got rich.

Th response? "Fucking Americans throwing their weight around!"

Ungrateful.

2019-02-12 23:31:19 UTC

tbh portuguese hams are better

2019-02-12 23:31:29 UTC

and cheaper

2019-02-12 23:32:12 UTC

I wouldn't mind if we started issuing letters of marque again

2019-02-12 23:32:22 UTC

Besides European military preparedness is basically nonexistant.

2019-02-12 23:32:40 UTC

Germany has what, 12 working tanks?

2019-02-12 23:33:06 UTC

And maybe a couple dozen f-15s?

2019-02-12 23:33:29 UTC

they have eurofighters

2019-02-12 23:33:40 UTC

that aren't combat ready

2019-02-12 23:34:03 UTC

hell the germans had to train with broomsticks

2019-02-12 23:34:22 UTC

Honestly I just want out, let Europe commit suicide already.

2019-02-12 23:34:49 UTC

The funeral would cost so much less than the life support

2019-02-12 23:35:06 UTC

It's not about force it's about will. And they don't have any. I mean when they were blowing each other up in Yugoslavia what did Europe do? About a war *in fucking Europe*? Sit on their hands and wait for us to handle it for them.

2019-02-12 23:35:35 UTC

They let Ukraine get invaded, too.

2019-02-12 23:35:41 UTC

```Article 1 of the United States Constitution lists issuing letters of marque and reprisal in Section 8 as one of the enumerated powers of Congress, alongside the power to tax and to declare War. However, since the American Civil War, the United States as a matter of policy has consistently followed the terms of the 1856 Paris Declaration forbidding the practice. The United States has not legally commissioned any privateers since 1815, although the status of submarine-hunting Goodyear airships in the early days of World War II created significant confusion. Various accounts refer to airships Resolute and Volunteer as operating under a "privateer status", but Congress never authorized a commission, nor did the President sign one.[38]
