As far as I know it's EU and NATO countries purchasing US military stock like any other customer, providing jobs for your massive military industry
Our military industry? Oh you kean all the guns we buy from Italy, and the missiles from Denmark, or was it Norway?
You buy our aircraft and some guns, ammo.
boi
Most of your vehicles are produced in Europe
The global trade, you know that everyone uses, never existed before. Europe's 'trade' was sequestered imperial system where when you wanted trade you blew up each other's navies to get it. Then in the middle of the last century there was only one navy. The largest that ever existed on the planet. And we said, "everyone gets to trade." And everyone got rich.
Th response? "Fucking Americans throwing their weight around!"
Ungrateful.
tbh portuguese hams are better
and cheaper
I wouldn't mind if we started issuing letters of marque again
Besides European military preparedness is basically nonexistant.
Germany has what, 12 working tanks?
And maybe a couple dozen f-15s?
they have eurofighters
that aren't combat ready
hell the germans had to train with broomsticks
Honestly I just want out, let Europe commit suicide already.
The funeral would cost so much less than the life support
It's not about force it's about will. And they don't have any. I mean when they were blowing each other up in Yugoslavia what did Europe do? About a war *in fucking Europe*? Sit on their hands and wait for us to handle it for them.
They let Ukraine get invaded, too.
```Article 1 of the United States Constitution lists issuing letters of marque and reprisal in Section 8 as one of the enumerated powers of Congress, alongside the power to tax and to declare War. However, since the American Civil War, the United States as a matter of policy has consistently followed the terms of the 1856 Paris Declaration forbidding the practice. The United States has not legally commissioned any privateers since 1815, although the status of submarine-hunting Goodyear airships in the early days of World War II created significant confusion. Various accounts refer to airships Resolute and Volunteer as operating under a "privateer status", but Congress never authorized a commission, nor did the President sign one.[38]
So I mean do you really think that some 'EU army' is going to spend blood and treasure to defend Hungary?
what you expect when the leaders of EU is former east Germans puppets that was brainwashed by ussr and loves the cock of communism
Even though the NATO defense secretary is European
Or Romania?
the EU army is a joke. it only there to supress the EU nations
he is from norway
The EU army would only care if the russians were at the oder
No they wouldnt
the EU army will roll out the red carpet then
They didnt care when they were
Once the USSR collapsed the entire continent decided military wasn't worth it.
Which is fine
@Jym The EU or EEC at the time was never a military body, it is and was an economic and political body so it could not enforce anything through war. That is where NATO stepped in
What we are saying, is that NATO may as well not exist.
the Nato defence secretary was hard on that the European leaders are weak idiots that need to step up or loose the support of the US as trump was not joking.
@Capitán Alatriste
NATO s a polite euphemism Europe uses for US troops.
And if NATO were all you needed, the EU wouldn't be trying to literally create a military.
We hate our allies because they are not allies when they think they don't need us
