We already said no to refugees from the Middle East but some get in anyway.
@EnderOctanus But I was told here that emigrating from your country to seek better life in another place was a thing of cowards and weak men π€
Yeah pretty much.
Make your home better I guess. Because who gets to imigrate? The most able.
We take their best away from them, dooming their homelands to further degradation, lack of planning, and ultimately, suffering.
But you go on feeling really damn good about your 'progressive' sympathies for people who were fucked the moment they were born. Believing from atop your pedestal, that just being *nice* and *diverse* actually does anything.
@EnderOctanus Are you calling your ancestors weak and cowardly?
you spanish would know something about being weak and cowardly

So I'm watching the Sargon video about David Lammy.
I'm actually somewhat in agreement with the guy
Sargon seems to be uninformed about the concept of international welfare and NGOs who are keeping Africans in poverty by giving them stuff.
Yes, we should stop sending aid to Africa.
And yeah, these charities seem to exist to make white liberals feel better about themselves
The feel good ones are the useful idiots
Comic Relief is a charity that builds things. BEGONE AMERICAN
Are Africans unable to build things?
It's one thing to say stop giving them money and give them stuff that will help them longer term. It's another thing to say stop helping them because you're white.
well the poorest are and stop refering to Africa as if it's a country.
@Gen Kumon I didn't hear that at all from the guy
Black people make that mistake everyday <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
It seemed he was saying that white people give money to Africa as a virtue signal
So am I.
Lammy seemed to be saying that these charities are feel-good factories for rich white liberals who want to feel like they're doing good in the world
Oh I didn't know
I'd defund Oxfam before I defunded Comic Relief
Not really the message I read into his words.

I'd defund Unicef before Comic Relief
