Tbf im tired of this. He was a saudi citizen that was on saudi land (consulates are the territory of the owners), ots a saudi problem. Yes he had a us visa. But he was in turkey and visas only give us protections inside the us.

This seems to be true.

The news magazine Focus wrote about it.
