How are you paying?'

your kids come here for the jobs of mine

grow your own economy

we are all one

2018-12-11 22:07:16 UTC

So hold on... you're telling me that they took yer jobs?

they normally go back poorer

or live very poor lives

I transfered to Greece and I did well. I had a skill they needed at the time

that skill isn't needed anymore and it was half their economy

2018-12-11 22:10:19 UTC

Well Greece's economy has never been anything. Most of it was and remains seasonal jobs

2018-12-11 22:10:37 UTC

I take it you had a seasonal job?

we 'got rich' off tourism

cus they actually had a tourism

It was bit kind this chat room a bunch of different people

now those jobs don't exist Mrs Merkel

Athens, London, Paris, Berlin were all great

I'm biased when it come to Madrid, Barcelona

Stockholm was amazing

I'm a British <:boomer:514203388704063489> and I think they fucked it up

How it was in my 20s it was quite good

Now, I can't imagine, Spain or Greek working here

We left our homes

but we did well

and the Spanish for sure do not do well here

they work in McDs

and I worked outside-inside a Nightclub

and I earned enough for Swordfish everyday

room and enough to send home

and I was paid shit

point is that job doesn't exist anymore

it's Somalian men must come work in Bayern

when there' 1000's of Italians that need a job

2018-12-11 22:33:07 UTC

Most of the Spaniards that leave Spain are recent graduates, and their job prospects are bad. Even if they work at a McDonald's or another low paying job, it's still more than what they would get home. Any job is better than no job, and even the lower paying ones in the UK are higher than those in Spain. And the whole Somalian argument really doesn't have much weight, because if you lose your job to someone that jumped the border and has no knowledge of the language or any skills, then it's your own fault. The situation in Spain, though slowly improving, is not made for recent graduates who have to have extreme qualifications where hundreds have to fiercely compete for one spot. However even in Spain seasonal jobs can get you quite an amount, but it's only for a couple months

2018-12-11 22:35:06 UTC

The problem with the *jumping the border* argument is that you'll be competing with someone willing to accept half as much

2018-12-11 22:35:28 UTC

And in jobs that require no particular skill that's really problematic

Our skill was we spoke English and we got people in the right bar / nighclubs

Low skill jobs

Other way it's you steal a job froma local lad at McDs
