it will be riots like you have not seen before im sure of that, as the democrats back is still broken and it looks like it going to stay broken for the forcible future

2019-01-15 00:53:30 UTC

Nah, the riots you have to worry about are the ones from the Right, when the 'Silent Majority' gets frustrated enough

2019-01-15 00:56:21 UTC

anyway if you have a shop now it a good time reinforce it entry points and windows before the riots brake everything and get some rooftop Koreans as well

2019-01-15 00:56:38 UTC

I'm more worried about the left instigating things it worries me how many people are sjw/progressive and open about it

2019-01-15 00:57:06 UTC

shit will happen that is for sure at least in the big cities

2019-01-15 00:57:27 UTC

Don't live in the cities

2019-01-15 00:57:37 UTC

Like I feel like we are the people that are watching the new Nazis rise look at the similarities to the left

2019-01-15 00:57:52 UTC

They always compare us to Nazis but they legit copy their political tactics

2019-01-15 00:58:18 UTC

yea at this point the most sane people are the dooms day preppers it looks like

2019-01-15 00:59:02 UTC

Once the normies here about child tranny prostitution, and other crazy shit, they'll only bend over so far in the US

2019-01-15 00:59:37 UTC

I guess but will it be too late

2019-01-15 00:59:51 UTC

It's been too late for over a decade

2019-01-15 01:00:37 UTC

Longer, really, but it accelerated with the internet and social media

2019-01-15 01:32:58 UTC

Depends on the city. I mean I'm in the Midwest we don't get AntiFa around here. If you tried that Portland bullshit downtown normal dudes just going to work would likely tool you.

2019-01-15 01:38:20 UTC

@Jym I'm in Portland.

Go outside of town about 15-20min in any direction, and they'll do the same.

If this city falls apart, they'll get no help from the surrounding area.

2019-01-15 01:43:50 UTC

Here's the thing on that. I'm in the middle of a city and it's like that. Like I can *walk* to the Opera. We just don't, culturally, tolerate that sort of behavior in this part of the country. It's not... polite. Which is a big deal here. You can open carry in the gas station but it would be unthinkable not to thank the clerk and wish them a nice day.

2019-01-15 01:53:13 UTC

That sounds nice

2019-01-15 01:53:19 UTC

Alaska was like that a bit

2019-01-15 01:55:44 UTC

Yeah where were you at? I like Metlakatla might retire up that way.

2019-01-15 01:58:40 UTC

Take me with you, I'll work for free lol

2019-01-15 02:02:53 UTC

Oh man we got jobs. Cost of Living is 1/2 what you see on the coasts too. Here I've got a good infographic on it;

2019-01-15 02:18:43 UTC

@Jym It's not that accurate, if you're not taking commuting into account

2019-01-15 02:22:29 UTC

Commuting? Not sure what you mean @Fitzydog . I mean commuting actually raises your costs. A McMansion out in the burbs will cost 2-4 times what a nice place with hardwodos costs in the city.

2019-01-15 02:23:32 UTC

I live outside of the city, and housing is cheaper

2019-01-15 02:23:55 UTC

Hipsters want to live *in* the city, which drives up prices

2019-01-15 02:24:23 UTC

Yeah it's the opposite here.

2019-01-15 02:24:26 UTC

I make under half of the amount listed for Portland, and I can put a downpayment on a home soon

2019-01-15 02:25:13 UTC

turns out the Canadian that was sentence to death was a former convicted drug trafficker back in Canada that was let off easy by a judge that did feel sorry for him

There's actually a city program where you can get repos for low 5-figures. Now you're looking at likely another 20-30 in remod unless you can do some yourself.

2019-01-15 02:27:21 UTC

But my point is a guy who drives a forklift for Amazon can buy a house here.

2019-01-15 02:28:14 UTC

I'll be buying some land, and putting a pre-fab on it

2019-01-15 02:29:33 UTC

Yeah I got a co-worker who did that his buddies have some out of town too. Nice place to go hunting.

2019-01-15 02:29:59 UTC

All in the same chunk of land.

2019-01-15 02:33:05 UTC

He's talking about bringing venison chili to the company cook-off. We're both always in the top three. I can't compete on that end as I don't hunt but I've got some chilis from my sister that might win it for me this year.

2019-01-15 02:36:05 UTC

@Jym God I fucking love Venison

2019-01-15 02:36:28 UTC

Venison Tacos are the shit

2019-01-15 02:37:05 UTC

Reindeer always tasted funny to me

2019-01-15 02:40:04 UTC

Not sure I ever had venison tacos. But deer meat is pretty easy to get. We have a couple of big gun shows and hunters always post up with a freezer of cuts. As I understand it the trick is to buy max licenses every season because the bow tags carry over if you don't turn them in.

2019-01-15 02:40:51 UTC

Technically, it's illegal to sell meat you've hunted

2019-01-15 02:41:18 UTC

Fucking where?

2019-01-15 02:41:54 UTC

It's federal as far as I know. It was to curb for-profit hunting
