it may not be exactly communism, but it is cronyist

2019-01-18 01:19:29 UTC

and they're bringing back

2019-01-18 01:19:31 UTC

don't be waycist

2019-01-18 01:19:47 UTC

Yeah, but the Chinese people don't have much respect for their own nation.

2019-01-18 01:19:53 UTC

rly?

2019-01-18 01:19:57 UTC

Some do, I assume

2019-01-18 01:20:10 UTC

do you talk about chinese politics ever

2019-01-18 01:20:23 UTC

Yes, quite a bit recently here

2019-01-18 01:20:33 UTC

I'm kinda skeptical about all those statistics that say that they were the most economically wealthy country in the world for thousands of years of history. I'm sure that it was true, but its pretty easy to do when you have the most people in the world within you country. Was was the gdp per capita at the time?

2019-01-18 01:21:36 UTC
2019-01-18 01:21:42 UTC

im sure alex jones mentioned it

2019-01-18 01:21:48 UTC

i think the immigration thing is mostly that

2019-01-18 01:22:26 UTC

but i think the elites that encouraged immigration were hoping for a longer game

2019-01-18 01:22:35 UTC

and not immediate crime explosions

2019-01-18 01:22:51 UTC

like they were hoping it would build up over time, so that people couldn't blame immigration i think

2019-01-18 01:22:53 UTC

@What Would Jack Conte Do? Have you seen ADVChina on youtube?

Take a look at their videos covering Chinese society/culture

2019-01-18 01:22:58 UTC

and would trust the govt security then

2019-01-18 01:23:36 UTC

@AlephKnoll Yeah, but regardless they invented a lot of technology too

2019-01-18 01:23:43 UTC

and there militaries weren't bad

2019-01-18 01:23:50 UTC

You can extrapolate from there, to a generalized feeling that they're not as societally homogenous as you'd think

2019-01-18 01:23:55 UTC

because they had so many people.

2019-01-18 01:24:11 UTC

well i heard that a lot of chinese identify as 'han'

2019-01-18 01:24:19 UTC

the armies of thousands we think of in the roman and greek armies are nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands in the chinese armies.

2019-01-18 01:24:24 UTC

so that seems to be a national thing

2019-01-18 01:24:28 UTC

or an ethnic thing

2019-01-18 01:24:37 UTC

its the dominant ethnic group in china

2019-01-18 01:24:48 UTC

yeah like 90%

2019-01-18 01:24:59 UTC

I wouldn't trust the stats on that.

2019-01-18 01:25:04 UTC

well the chinese were also good at employing new weapons for different situations

2019-01-18 01:25:08 UTC

like gunpowder pots

2019-01-18 01:25:18 UTC

which they'd catapult

2019-01-18 01:25:24 UTC

Have you seen that channel?@What Would Jack Conte Do?

2019-01-18 01:25:27 UTC

against mongols

2019-01-18 01:25:28 UTC

they obviously don't like their minorities and would skew their statistics without a second thought.

2019-01-18 01:25:38 UTC

@Fitzydog No, but there's a lot of channels out there

2019-01-18 01:25:53 UTC

Check out ADVChina

2019-01-18 01:26:06 UTC

@What Would Jack Conte Do? its easy to claim that you invented things when you have the most people in the world at the time. what was life like for the average citizen at the time?

2019-01-18 01:26:28 UTC

@AlephKnoll probably shit

2019-01-18 01:26:28 UTC

lol
