exposition can be fun. depends on how it's handled
It's a consequence of the source material, yeah
are there any animes that dont rely on it?
it's too tedious for me
there are very few that simply 'show' everything, as it can be extremely difficult to get a point across with only images in most shows
It's even worse in games because playing it is the point
And exposition gets in the way of that
plus, anime plots tend to be... weird
To be fair, it's not just anime that gets heavy handed with the exposition.
American comics are really bad about it too.
tbh im fine with it. most shows know that its annoying, and make it quick and/or funny
Actually, the thing that pisses me off in anime isn't exposition. It's filler.
OH.... show that doesnt do that: one punch man. go watch that
he actually makes people skip exposition
cause he's heard it all
Oh yes
Filler is cancer
i watched 3 episodes, didnt care or it
You've got to skip the filler
I enjoyed it
Like in Dragon Ball Z, when a fight is absorbed by about 20 minutes of sidelined faggots gasping.
lol
lol, that was due to budget problems
dragonball z has a looooot of financial issues
at the beginning
gotta check on goku, and see what he is doing
Which is surprising
Given the popularity of the source material
it cost SO munch money, they had to hire D list voice actors
I can't even watch vanilla Dragonball Z any more. I just do not have the patience.
If I watch Dragon Ball, it's going to be the original series.
and those same actors are now all experts, and legendary, cause of DBZ
the show was good, but the i think the live action movie really did it right
thats dragonball
Yeah, that's Dragon Ball.
gt?
and yes, it was better written. it was supposted to end at the end of dragonball, but the artist's fans made him continue
Dragon Ball is actually fucking hilarious.
and so he made dragonball Z, up to the frieza arc... which was when it was supposed to end again
