It's a miracle the Castlevania Netflix series is so good
i saw some scenes from the deathnote thing, yikes
Don't fucking remind me.
he made one piece strong world, an anime movie. made over $1 billion
The Witcher series is going to be fucking awful.
Duh
I can't wait for Black Ciri.
I can't think of too many Netflix originals that are good at all
Nah, black Ciri is out
So am I.
I enjoyed Castlevania
sadly, it seems that only the japanese care about good adaptations, although some of them tend to be bad due to lack of funds
Probably because Netflix themselves didn't touch it
That would imply that these people have any sort of critical thought as to why blackwashing a show about a series based on Polish folklore is a bad idea.
afaik they're just the publishers
there was a japanese live action death note. very bad CGI, but good story
If Netflix touches production in any way it turns to shit
is there any anime that would actually translate well to live action?
death note, hilariously enough
Yeah
its why people were pissed off at it so much
Not really action oriented at all
I think they revealed who they were gonna cast already
you had ONE SHOW that you could work well into live action
No crazy CGI would be necessary
Just Ryuk and Rem
and they fucked it up
I miss Dub of the North STar.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
ah.... lol, konosuba would work in live action pretty well. that show is mostly comedic action
now that i think about it
they always cast some beta weirdo for the leads for some reason
good god, darkness letting enemies beat the shit out of her and getting turned on by it would be funny as hell in live action
i think casting is 50% of it, if not more
It's a cultural thing
They value humility
maybe in live action shows, but a lot of animes typically have 'harem' protags
which can be bad in other ways...
