I have run out of ideas as to why, it just does, even though I have an SSD

2018-10-23 07:02:40 UTC

And don't bother giving advice, I've already tried everything

2018-10-23 07:02:51 UTC

Something is probably fried

2018-10-23 07:07:57 UTC

Oh right he did make it to a 4th term

2018-10-23 07:08:02 UTC

But barely

2018-10-23 07:10:45 UTC

have you tried booting something that isn't your usual OS?

2018-10-23 07:13:01 UTC

No because windows is the only useful OS for gaming and there would be no point

2018-10-23 07:13:59 UTC

Love it when program updates force a restart without warning

2018-10-23 07:14:16 UTC

Hmm

2018-10-23 07:14:27 UTC

Definitely doesn't make me want to immediately uninstall your product and mail a bomb to the dev team

2018-10-23 07:14:30 UTC

I assume you've looked at startup programs

2018-10-23 07:14:55 UTC

How could it be startup programs before windows starts?

2018-10-23 07:15:09 UTC

I'm stuck in the circle loading screen for eternity every time

2018-10-23 07:15:14 UTC

Oh, before it books into windows

2018-10-23 07:15:19 UTC

So it's hanging on the BIOS?

2018-10-23 07:15:21 UTC

2018-10-23 07:15:26 UTC

Not the BIOS

2018-10-23 07:15:36 UTC

So it goes into Windows, but not into user accounts

2018-10-23 07:15:43 UTC

Alright, that does eliminate startup programs

2018-10-23 07:15:49 UTC

It eventually does it just takes fucking ages

2018-10-23 07:16:30 UTC

It's probably just windows building up lots of junk files

2018-10-23 07:16:56 UTC

I don't have the patience for a full reinstall though far too much to reinstall

2018-10-23 07:17:16 UTC

And I'd lose lots of things I will inevitably forget about entirely

2018-10-23 07:17:18 UTC

This didn't happen after an update, did it?

2018-10-23 07:17:34 UTC

No it's acted like this ever since I installed windows

2018-10-23 07:17:44 UTC

It's probably a bad driver

2018-10-23 07:18:01 UTC

Odd

2018-10-23 07:18:30 UTC

It amuses me to no end how I have less hassle with fucking Linux

2018-10-23 07:18:45 UTC

Still loading

2018-10-23 07:18:47 UTC

Does it eventially get there tho?

2018-10-23 07:19:14 UTC

I have yet to use a Linux distro I considered remotely useful

2018-10-23 07:19:26 UTC

Simply put, nothing worked

2018-10-23 07:19:32 UTC

T R I G G E R E D

2018-10-23 07:19:50 UTC

I had that issue before after an update. I had to start in safe mode and attempt various drivers. But when that didnt work. I had to reinstall windows via the safe screen

2018-10-23 07:20:08 UTC

What makes stuff like that so annoying is that it seems that there are a billion and one things that can cause it and Windows gives you no fucking feedback

2018-10-23 07:20:50 UTC

When it happened to mine the web basically said 4 to 5 drivers and the update possibly clash. Full reinstall cleared that.

2018-10-23 07:21:22 UTC

I attempted the drivers first naturally. But no avail so doubt that was the actual issue

2018-10-23 07:21:23 UTC

I've been doing some googling in the past 5 minutes and I have found multiple potential causes. USB devices, Windows updates, drivers

2018-10-23 07:21:28 UTC

Want to install drivers? Problem. Want to install programs? Problem. Want to change system settings? Problem. You spend 95% of your time copy pasting commands off of ubuntu forums because literally nothing works without a hitch, there is inevitably a missing something or other or you got version 192.2853.3535 and you need 192.2853.3536, shit like that

2018-10-23 07:21:32 UTC

It doesn't just work

2018-10-23 07:21:46 UTC

Whenever you're troubleshooting Windows you're always stumbling around in the dark
