2018-10-27 05:58:43 UTC

liek sargon im not just running to the us!

2018-10-27 05:59:05 UTC

also i did the math once if i lived in the US i would have 5.8million in health care costs

2018-10-27 05:59:20 UTC

not even kidding i broken that many bones

2018-10-27 05:59:55 UTC

im 90% sure you did the math wrong, unless you both didnt have insurance, and dont know about the insurance / hospital collusion

2018-10-27 06:00:03 UTC

arm 4 times full elbow cast foot 2 times all the fingers on my right hand at least once

2018-10-27 06:00:28 UTC

right arm , type 2 speration of both shoulders at differnt times

2018-10-27 06:00:59 UTC

healthcare in the US is expensive because of health insurance. they charge a high rate, health insurance people say no the the price, the insurance people then pay out much less, around 30-40% of the cost

2018-10-27 06:01:04 UTC

spent a week in hosbital from a baterical infection they never identified and i barely survived.

2018-10-27 06:01:27 UTC

Yeah, healthcare isn't THAT expensive

2018-10-27 06:01:36 UTC

but hospitals also charge normal people the same rate... which CAN be haggled... though its hard to

2018-10-27 06:02:01 UTC

there are places that can help you do it. our healthcare isnt as expensive as it first seems

2018-10-27 06:02:05 UTC

point is im 26 and i vist the hosbital 2-3 times a year for broken bones or ligiments

2018-10-27 06:02:16 UTC

but yes, that would be expensive without insurance

2018-10-27 06:02:30 UTC

I wouldn't say thats NORMAL, but it's not uncommon either

2018-10-27 06:02:36 UTC

depending on state, insurance would be $250-500 a month

2018-10-27 06:02:37 UTC

thats at a minium 60 xrays over that time

2018-10-27 06:02:54 UTC

high, but not millions high

2018-10-27 06:03:17 UTC

not to mention the weeks of in hosbital care

2018-10-27 06:03:24 UTC

There's other solutions as well, like Mutuals, HSAs, preventative medicine programs, etc

2018-10-27 06:03:42 UTC

oh and Lex... drink more milk

2018-10-27 06:03:50 UTC

and the one time long distance resque that one here in Canada still cost me 5 grand

2018-10-27 06:04:04 UTC

i live danerously saddly milk wont fix that XD

2018-10-27 06:04:32 UTC

the fuck do you do?

2018-10-27 06:04:46 UTC

helicopters are expensive to run apparently

2018-10-27 06:04:47 UTC

Also, the fact that we in America have to pay for our healthcare directly, makes some of us less risky lol

2018-10-27 06:04:55 UTC

^

2018-10-27 06:05:16 UTC

... i understand. may you never run out of socialists

2018-10-27 06:06:04 UTC

most of my injurys are from working in shity places, like the sides of cliffs, or in machine shops where safety is... on the list.

2018-10-27 06:07:26 UTC

and maybe 5-6 of them are from power kites, shoulders and feet to be exact. going 35mph 6 inch's off the ground in a buggy not at the salt flats can lead to problems XD

2018-10-27 06:09:46 UTC

trained to be an climbing arborist which is a guy who cuts trees down well in them. then realized my left hands not going to work in 5-10 years due an old injury i got when i was a kid. so i am working on getting my 3 welding tickets, for BC AB and ON and the fedral 3 as well

2018-10-27 06:10:22 UTC

any way to prevent that?

2018-10-27 06:10:57 UTC

to my knowledge no, maybe a hand specialists in the states could fix it.

2018-10-27 06:11:26 UTC

look it up. our doctors are expensive. they're also the best

2018-10-27 06:12:36 UTC

If we could legalize experimental medicine here, that could revitalize and boost industry

2018-10-27 06:12:53 UTC

drank more malk

2018-10-27 06:12:57 UTC

from what my doc told me the best bet is a wrist fusion which stops the problem but you lose about 30-40% of the flexiblity in your wrist

2018-10-27 06:12:57 UTC

never broken a bone

2018-10-27 06:13:02 UTC

despite being literally autistic >

2018-10-27 06:13:03 UTC

already said that

2018-10-27 06:13:19 UTC

I agree with your judgement then
