I am happy to empathise with the pro life position, but not with arguments about overall societal moral degradation. Moralising nonsense about sexual promiscuity is is a pining for a past that never existed. Buried misery behind closed doors, as though humans of the past had a different nature that was altogether purer. You know, despite the colossal wars all over the place. I've no wish to turn back the clock. I'm definitely on board with encouraging basic family values and community spirit though, and the cultural standard of abortion being a very serious matter rather than a casual one.
