Pretty effective too. Nobody WANTS to escape our prisons, they're safer in there and they know it. We have potentially the most dangerous criminals in the country at Angola State Prison, and we let those fucks hold rodeos for the public if they are good. Works really well, too. They dig their own graves as well. I think they are all life sentenced.

Build their own caskets too

And frankly they're really nice caskets. That one preacher that died last year that everyone loved, he specifically requested our inmates make his casket.

And then this transpired

So long story short I get the guys number and text him, he’s an Air Force vet who just lost his friend Matthew in the marines

So I talked with him for a bit and consoled him

I’d like you guys to keep him in your thoughts or maybe pray for the guys family
