Season 5, Episode 8 was about a holographic exobiologist that they modeled on a Cardassian version of Mengele in a rush because of a medical emergency.

So a character refused medical treatment, and a Bajoran got butthurt, forcing the crew to do a search of historical databases to confirm that this guy was a war criminal, all the while wasting time.

Then the Bajoran wanted all of his information purged from the database.

The whole thing was about cucking to social justice revisionist history

I remember this episode, and it made me mad.

Because it's like, if you follow that line of reasoning, it means all those bajorans died for nothing.

"We should stay ignorant and bind our hands, because our feelings are hurt!"

It was such a stupid episode of voyager.

Season 5 has a totally different vibe than the last 4

I'm one of the few people who actually likes a lot of the earlier seasons more tho.

The thing about Star Trek is I like the premise for the most part but the execution rarely pays it off.

Its like opposite Star Wars. Where the premise is boring but the execution is good.
