Hard to beat 30 thousand years of human civilization

'I, Robot', to the Caves of Steel series, then the Galactic Empire, and finishing with the Foundation series

I used to like the Star Wars extended universe, but now I'm on a Star Trek binge

Yeah, Asimov didn't even intend to link the Robot series with the Foundation series, shows how good of a writer he was

Man, reading a list of scifi universes makes me remember how many of these I've forgotten about

The Lost Fleet is a great space opera series

There was this one book I read in middle school about living bio-ships, and lots of bio-engineering involved.
