The car would VERY comfortably sit 4 people with lots of leg, side, and headroom

The benefit of not having weird ass bubble angles is that you can EFFECTIVELY UTILIZE THE SPACE

you know those plastic cylindrical containers you'll get from take-away restaurants? usually hold soup and what not? professional chefs use those to contain sauce bases, mirepoix, etc - things they make ahead of time. some "genius chef figured out if he could have that same grade of container, but make them square, instead of round, he'd free up a bunch of space in his restaurants fridge.....
some engineer/fabricator cranked out a bunch of square ones for him, and he made a tidy little profit selling them to other local restaurants
