I used to think people who believed in this stuff were just making it up, but I really found respect when I realised that there are things out there that can end you if they choose to.

I once saw a empty man climb through my parents low bay windows when I was little. He was just a shadow. Imagine a vantablack shadow. It didn't so much frighten me that it would hurt me, rather that I would fall into him.

the only other experience I've really had was one time when I was like 13

I got woken up by my mom calling me from downstairs

I also at one time saw myself walking through the woods behind some trees. It really unsettled me seeing myself.

the hall light was on and shining into my bedroom

I got up and walked to the hall, thinking it was time for school

I called out to her from the hallway

and I kept getting responses from downstairs

and I got to the stairs down

and my mom opens the door from her bedroom and says "why are you shouting it's 3 AM"

and I suddenly realized that the hallway lights were off somehow

a mimic, you were being lured while sleepwalking

sleepwalking frightens me

and a lot of stuff involving clocks at night, i guess

I've remembered seeing the time as 14:30, 6:73, that kind of thing

and what gets me is how distinct it is

you can reach out, tap the clock, fiddle with it

and it stays at that time

I've made a habit of always turning on the light when that happens because I do not want to know what shows up in the dark

I sometimes get real scared of what I could do with the knifeblock accidentally while sleepwalking. I hate having anything sharp lying around. I've woken up with a spade next to my bed and it really freaked me out.
