Perhaps, though, she should've sought the opinion of a professional before making that decision. Surely in the universe of zootopia, animal hybrid births would be somthing they'd deal with on a large scale.

I'm not necessarily saying the child would have a poor quality of life but it may present risk to the mother. She might not be big enough to facilitate a fox baby.
putting aside that rabbits and foxes typically have *litters,* I'm not sure the size difference would really be that considerable
