Especially when discussing Ben Shapiro, who is objectively awful on so many issues, that Going with the “he is a blasphemer against a religion he doesn’t believe in seems really really stupid”

I had a thought earlier, back in teh 80's and 90's there used to be these Beauty pageants (ms. america, ms. world etc..) During these pageants there was always the "what are your ambitions" they were always like "stop world hunger, save the rain forest" or some other just as naive ambition that was more virtue signaling than anything.

I feel like now we have a generation of women and soyboys who saw these women (who in reality had no idea what they were talking about) and being influenced by this thought these were noble causes.

We are seeing this play out in polotics right now, especially on the left, and the NPC's that encourage them think these naive ideas are feasible and don't have any downsides. They are blind to the consequences.
