@snake It's more like a probability scale on the likelyhood of what you would do in a given environment.

2019-12-18 18:32:12 UTC

it's genes playing on the environment

2019-12-18 18:34:39 UTC

The more informed your gene's are (adapted too) any given environment the less energy you have to spend thinking about what to do as the answers will come more natural and with little thought. The opposite is also true. This is the human body showing it's evolutionary practice in action and one of those benefits is energy conservation.

2019-12-18 18:35:05 UTC

I also think people do things for different reasons

2019-12-18 18:35:16 UTC

so it's not like you could answer it like that

2019-12-18 18:35:55 UTC

yes ofc, and again this is a probability scale of likelihood, not a certainty

2019-12-18 18:36:03 UTC

I didn't reply to you btw

2019-12-18 18:36:27 UTC

for example you don't think of new ways to turn on the lights at home.

2019-12-18 18:36:48 UTC

I know I could have spent my life in many different ways, still with the same want for some things

2019-12-18 18:36:56 UTC

but there are also things I would never do I think

2019-12-18 18:36:57 UTC

lol

2019-12-18 18:37:30 UTC

I think about light switches every time I turn it on (not really)

2019-12-18 18:37:35 UTC

Well with the right kind of brain tumor

2019-12-18 18:37:39 UTC

never say never

2019-12-18 18:38:12 UTC

yes but how deep and conscious are those thoughts?

2019-12-18 18:38:37 UTC

anway, it's people influencing people, with the opportunities you see and your wants

2019-12-18 18:40:15 UTC

I still believe that not considering the social aspect of humans as a very strong and influential aspect of human formation and interaction is a grave mistake of those who are too deep into the biological materialism.

2019-12-18 18:40:35 UTC

I honestly think most black people live more colorful lives (pun) than whites

2019-12-18 18:40:37 UTC

like it's innate

2019-12-18 18:40:56 UTC

colorful?

2019-12-18 18:41:01 UTC

I don't follow

2019-12-18 18:41:26 UTC

I think I would have a problem explaning that

2019-12-18 18:41:57 UTC

like how they view their lives

2019-12-18 18:41:57 UTC

Well I suppose it explains the bloods n crips

2019-12-18 18:42:02 UTC

they are very colorful

2019-12-18 18:43:08 UTC

like a white person tolerate more

2019-12-18 18:43:15 UTC

I mean maybe, it's kinda vague but if you mean in a way like more risk taking and dangerous lifestyle choices well color me white, I don't wanna have a colorful life.

2019-12-18 18:43:34 UTC

a little bit of that yes

2019-12-18 18:43:41 UTC

but it's a whole package

2019-12-18 18:44:04 UTC

a white person is more ok with having a "grey" life

2019-12-18 18:44:33 UTC

excuse my synesthesia

2019-12-18 18:44:36 UTC

lol

2019-12-18 18:45:07 UTC

Yea we seem to get our kicks socializing intellectually which colorful people see as boring and dull.

2019-12-18 18:45:17 UTC

it's a weaker need to have fun I think

2019-12-18 18:45:34 UTC

Yes I would agree with that generally

2019-12-18 18:46:00 UTC

@Eternal Entropy I agree that Tabula Rasa is bad and its prevalence in society has caused a lot of harm but I think a supposed "Tabula my big brain has figured everything out because muh genetics" could possibly be just as bad. Straying away from reality will fuck you up sooner or later whichever side of the pendulum you are on.

2019-12-18 18:46:05 UTC

it's like at some point we mature to a certain level where as colorful people want to have endless childhood fun.

2019-12-18 18:46:19 UTC

I might be a little dazzled with whites complete loss of in group preference

2019-12-18 18:46:24 UTC

losing all our real communities

2019-12-18 18:46:27 UTC

🤷🏿‍♂️

2019-12-18 18:47:12 UTC

I agree boniface. "I still believe that not considering the social aspect of humans as a very strong and influential aspect of human formation and interaction is a grave mistake of those who are too deep into the biological materialism.
