@snake It's more like a probability scale on the likelyhood of what you would do in a given environment.

The more informed your gene's are (adapted too) any given environment the less energy you have to spend thinking about what to do as the answers will come more natural and with little thought. The opposite is also true. This is the human body showing it's evolutionary practice in action and one of those benefits is energy conservation.

I also think people do things for different reasons
