im going to put the jar into a fire

2019-10-25 15:52:30 UTC

along with this debate

2019-10-25 15:52:32 UTC

@johny1846 if you then put in some living organisms which soak up CO2 and exhaust Oxygen what happens?

2019-10-25 15:53:02 UTC

also what control measures are in place for this "experiment"?

2019-10-25 15:53:24 UTC

how can you be sure that the light level coming from the light to the jar is comparable to the light coming from our sun to earth?

2019-10-25 15:54:13 UTC

Sure having living organisms fuck up the equilibrium point they will increase the co2 levels and decrease.

2019-10-25 15:54:20 UTC

Them

2019-10-25 15:54:34 UTC

So your experiment is meaningless in terms of earth's climate

2019-10-25 15:54:39 UTC

Nope

2019-10-25 15:54:50 UTC

It’s shows that co2 changes the equilibrium point

2019-10-25 15:54:55 UTC

okay

2019-10-25 15:54:57 UTC

so what?

2019-10-25 15:55:13 UTC

that doesn't prove that we are heading towards a climate crisis

2019-10-25 15:55:30 UTC

Other factors changing the co2 levels fucking up the equilibrium doesn’t change this fact

2019-10-25 15:55:34 UTC

it just proves that CO2 will contribute to the overall temperature of the earth, just like many other elements will

2019-10-25 15:55:42 UTC

We need the climate crisis because it will makes things colder which means the blacks while move out

2019-10-25 15:56:08 UTC

@johny1846 if we removed CO2 from the atmosphere at a high enough rate, wouldn't this end the climate change crisis you're expecting?

2019-10-25 15:56:20 UTC

Yes but it’s impractical

2019-10-25 15:56:41 UTC

why is it impractical? It's happened before

2019-10-25 15:56:52 UTC

atmospheric CO2 at less than 300ppm will be adverse to plant growth

2019-10-25 15:56:57 UTC

The earth has had very high CO2 levels in the atmosphere in the past

2019-10-25 15:57:05 UTC

and without human technology it has decreased

2019-10-25 15:57:35 UTC

We even observe an increase in plant growth on earth in our lifetimes

2019-10-25 15:57:42 UTC

we are in a carbon drought right now

2019-10-25 15:57:59 UTC

why is it a crisis?

2019-10-25 15:58:03 UTC

is it worse than other things?

2019-10-25 15:58:05 UTC

how?

2019-10-25 15:58:39 UTC

if this is to be believed

2019-10-25 15:58:40 UTC

@Downfall Vision the problem is with the artificial gain in co2 plant growth isn’t able to keep up with it. That’s why co2 levels continue to grow

2019-10-25 15:58:46 UTC

it doesn't look like much of a crisis to me

2019-10-25 15:59:35 UTC

@johny1846 how can you know plant growth isn't able to keep up?

2019-10-25 15:59:48 UTC

but if plants cant keep up with co2 at 400ppm how the hell did they manage to force an equilibrium at 1500ppm (carboniferous)

2019-10-25 16:00:12 UTC

Also lets say your doomsday comes, so what?

2019-10-25 16:00:17 UTC

Humans will survive

2019-10-25 16:00:30 UTC

it will just be a bit more difficult to sustain our population

2019-10-25 16:00:35 UTC

@Downfall Vision think about all the eco refugees that will come to your country

2019-10-25 16:00:35 UTC

and that's IF you're right about the effects

2019-10-25 16:00:44 UTC

@johny1846 well I wouldn't allow them lol

2019-10-25 16:00:51 UTC

that's a separate issue

2019-10-25 16:00:54 UTC

you're lost in ideology dude, and you keep contradicting yourself
