The only things this chart leaves out are like.... really theres 3 generations of matter, so pretend its superimposed on another dimension for flavor.
you've heard of electron, muon, and tau right

similarly for quarks, its up/down, charm/strange, and top/bottom
and this chart completely leaves out gluons, the force carriers of the strong force
but there's no way we can show all that in 2d
if we tried, it would look something like this

there's a lot of information in that.

sometimes i feel its hard to explain this, glad it made sense
you did well for sure. especially in so few words. but i have some small history with physics, so it might be harder for people without any physics background at all.
the chart shows some fascinating stuff too
like we still dont know if neutrinos are their own antiparticle or not
which comes down to if they're majorana or goldstone bosons
neutrinos are the most recent case where we had to amend the standard model just a few years ago. we thought they were massless and proved thats not the case
their mass is so small that its actually not even definite, i.e. it doesnt commute with their flavor
since neutrinos are always emitted with a definite flavor (electron usually), that means theyre emitted with a superposition of different masses
existing as a superposition of masses means they travel at slightly different speeds and their wavefunction gets smeared out... the interference patterns changing can cause us to observe the neutrinos as a different flavor
thats why we saw 1/3 of neutrinos emitted from the sun changing flavor
you're like me i think. it helps you to talk about the issues to someone else to better understand them yourself. lol
