there are four possible things
Then the second guy has a 0.5 chance of winning in 2nd round but that only happens if first guy didn’t win yet
That would be (.50)(.50) = .25. Since they are independent events. The probability of getting heads each time is 50 and have to calculate it twice since they are indepedent.
So what’s the relative odds
FUCK
Ok I gotta go buy new shoes now
jf sounds like alex jones
Discord make me loiter
Ready for answer?
The first guy just has to roll a heads, so .50. The second guy needs the first to roll a tail and heads, so .50x.50.
this is jsut the white pill she needed
You’re right Helton
Hektor
@Deleted User nope alex jones is in another galaxy compare to that
haha
its 2-1
So if that’s the cas the answer is trivial
What are their odds
true
close air support
X + 0.5x = 1
lol
of three possible outcomes that don't start the process over again, the first player wins on two of them
Since one of them has to win
sos cas toa
ahh, JF will be arguing the incel position
Yes
@troglodytes we avoided the worse there
markomann will have to watch
The odds are 2/3 and 1/3
the first person has a 2/3 chance
yes
If you do it with infinite series the answer is 0.5/(1-1/4) = 2/3 for the first player
@Rise Again that went well
there are three possibilities (that don't reset the toss)
