Broomhandle is sexier than 1911. But not worth the cost and functionality loss.

Glocks are more customizable than 1911s, yes. But 1911 is the second most customizable platform. But with metal and good triggers.

Glocks are functional and effecient enough, but if you spend anytime on the range at all, you would prefer the 1911 for shooting pleasure.
