where he told the same thing to everyone of the Apostles
The other one gimme a sec
anyways. Jesus was the important figure
not the pope
and I listen to jesus as spoken of through his apostles
not a pope
"Papal infallibility is a dogma of the Catholic Church that states that, in virtue of the promise of Jesus to Peter, the Pope is preserved from the possibility of error "when, in the exercise of his office as shepherd and teacher of all Christians, in virtue of his supreme apostolic authority, he defines a doctrine concerning faith or morals to be held by the whole Church.""
so where does debate come into this
Peter wanted to make a statement about faith
that you should not associate with Gentiles
When in exercise
Paul BTFO'd him on that theological question
they dead
Look up ex cathedra
blanc this is some serious mental gymnastics
What?
The when there
Ik what ex cathedra is and ex cathedra does not extend to Papal infallibility
Is explained in detail later
I'll leave this to you 2
Guys, it’s cold outside again. : )))))
I'm in the new house of Glory
Thats about the nilitary of South Korea

When you have Papal Infallibility it means that whatever theological question the Pope speaks about, it is true and perfect. This is your dogma. No need for it to be ex cathedra
Only thru ex cathedra and the popes know it cant be used lightly
It was a measure for fighting prots
there wasn't a central authority for 1000 years roughly
Where?
it was splitt between the cities
anywhere
You mean anti popes?
they could govern themselves
There is defined line of legitimate popes
Ahh
prior to 1054 there was no central authority like Rome, and Rome was also treated as an equal
Yea
yes
But rome was more important always mate
