It's because IQ is going down; parenting has nothing to do with it; back in the day children used to work in factories and their parents beat them and no one b*tched about depression
High IQ is correlated with autism and depression, so why would it be bad that IQ is going down

Parenting is just more about preventing trauma and spoil
Past that your kid's just going to be as good as they get. Naturally you want to pass inheritance, that's good an all but, yeah, just don't spoil
If you have a high IQ you won't get influenced much by trauma
