oh

2020-01-06 19:42:45 UTC

@DarthSammich it stopped breathing

2020-01-06 19:42:46 UTC

were these the new pets?

2020-01-06 19:42:50 UTC

I mean.... statistically it would be because of another coon....

2020-01-06 19:43:02 UTC

Just... stopped? WTF?

2020-01-06 19:43:13 UTC

maybe it ate something?

2020-01-06 19:43:15 UTC

Yes, just stopped breathing

2020-01-06 19:43:30 UTC

It is only two weeks old and only drinks the milk we give her

2020-01-06 19:43:38 UTC

Aww

2020-01-06 19:43:47 UTC

Found abandoned?

2020-01-06 19:44:19 UTC

She was in an attic.

2020-01-06 19:44:28 UTC

dropped on front of your door with a mysterious letter and an ancient racoon weapon?

2020-01-06 19:44:33 UTC

My family found her family and adopted one of the kits.

2020-01-06 19:44:49 UTC

🇫

2020-01-06 19:44:51 UTC

Can they be taken away at 2 weeks?

2020-01-06 19:45:09 UTC

maybe the mother abandoned it because it sensed something was wrong

2020-01-06 19:45:17 UTC

was thinking this ^

2020-01-06 19:45:19 UTC

She did fine for a week. She was laying on my belly sleeping for like two hours like not even twelve hours ago

2020-01-06 19:45:20 UTC

cats do it

2020-01-06 19:45:51 UTC

They abandon weak ones and ones with degenerative conditions all the time

2020-01-06 19:46:22 UTC

and how do you explain cats ending up with cat mom's?

2020-01-06 19:46:38 UTC

Those humans are the degenerative ones....

2020-01-06 19:46:49 UTC

i had adopted 2 cats consecutively that died within a month or so

2020-01-06 19:47:00 UTC

a while back

2020-01-06 19:47:02 UTC

it happens

2020-01-06 19:47:07 UTC

Yup. I took a runt in that died 2 years later due to pancreatic cancer

2020-01-06 19:47:29 UTC

And never would have made it that long otherwise

2020-01-06 19:47:40 UTC

Fuck having pets REEE

2020-01-06 19:47:51 UTC

Why do they have to die?!?!?1

2020-01-06 19:47:57 UTC

She was like my god daughter

2020-01-06 19:47:58 UTC

Pets are fine, but the learning curve is steep

2020-01-06 19:48:40 UTC

I can't believe she is actually just.... gone

2020-01-06 19:48:42 UTC

having an average lifespan of 80 adopting something with an average lifespan of 15 is going to be a bumpy ride

At least you got closure. Still don't know what happened to Cali.... wandered off one night. never seen again.

2020-01-06 19:49:57 UTC

LOL

2020-01-06 19:50:03 UTC

I have a cat that's getting older, and slowing down. I hate thinking about how he might die soon, or I might have to make the choice to have him put down if things get too rough for him down the road. I already had this happen with a cat before. It makes me not want to get more pets, because I know they'll probably die before I do.

2020-01-06 19:50:05 UTC

we had NOT ZING TO DO WIT IT!

2020-01-06 19:50:06 UTC

2020-01-06 19:50:33 UTC
