2020-02-03 16:10:49 UTC

Umm I think he has his own

2020-02-03 16:10:54 UTC

but I never use it

2020-02-03 16:11:04 UTC

this one is good since it kind of has most of the greatest hits

2020-02-03 16:12:19 UTC

I didn’t know he had his own server

2020-02-03 16:35:46 UTC

I am part of it but I never go on

2020-02-03 16:49:08 UTC

Terilien makes a really good point

2020-02-03 16:49:17 UTC

traditional Christianity is by far the most anti-faggot religion

2020-02-03 16:49:24 UTC

which probably stems from the holy family

2020-02-03 17:05:38 UTC

uhhh what about that religion whose adherents throw them off buildings?

2020-02-03 17:06:11 UTC

They aren't ideologically against it and they have a lot of loop holes

2020-02-03 17:08:00 UTC

Like in Iran where gay men are put under transitional surgery, or perhaps I’m thinking of a different country

2020-02-03 17:08:04 UTC

Islam does things because Allah tells them to be there isn't an underlying philosophy

2020-02-03 17:08:19 UTC

@Zemo yeah that’s Iran

2020-02-03 17:08:30 UTC

2020-02-03 17:08:57 UTC

ay, another stalingrad episode

2020-02-03 17:09:31 UTC

I knew it was either Iran or Iraq, some Islamic country

2020-02-03 17:09:34 UTC

interesting idea from Argent, the difference between a religion of philosophy and religion of laws

2020-02-03 17:40:42 UTC

both have laws and philosophy

2020-02-03 17:40:49 UTC

i dont get it

2020-02-03 17:44:54 UTC

the difference is rule lawyering. you need to know the reasons behind things. ie there are places in the islamic world where prostitutes will marry their clients for an hour or whatever and the client pays a "dowry" for her services

2020-02-03 17:45:05 UTC

in order to stay in accordance with islamic law

2020-02-03 17:46:02 UTC

that shows she isint really interested in the morals or reasons behind why one should have sex within a marriage

2020-02-03 17:46:07 UTC

its just a loophole

2020-02-03 17:46:15 UTC

I remember when my uncle was a marine in Iraq he would sometimes question the AQI members they would capture he would sometimes ask them questions he asked them what 2+2 is and they would say “whatever allah wills it to be”

2020-02-03 17:46:32 UTC

Skellington is correct on the difference

2020-02-03 17:46:49 UTC

or how they throw gay men off buildings but princes will diddle little boys

2020-02-03 17:47:05 UTC

To a Christian it would be sinful to even consider the idea of tricking God or finding loopholes. You wouldn't even think about it in the first place.

2020-02-03 17:47:33 UTC

In the Islamic and Judaic faiths, similar to the old Hebrew tradition, there is a lot of this rules lawyering and such.

2020-02-03 17:47:54 UTC

im not educated enough to give reasons why islam as a religion is like that

2020-02-03 17:47:56 UTC

In Christianity you know by philosophy that gay sex is wrong and there's no amount of loopholing and lawyering that can make it not so.

2020-02-03 17:48:09 UTC

but the difference is between understanding the spirit or the letter of the law

2020-02-03 17:48:32 UTC

yeah

2020-02-03 17:48:36 UTC

Not all of islam is lawyering, but I agree that most of it is

2020-02-03 17:48:37 UTC

actually if i remember

2020-02-03 17:48:44 UTC

sargon did a good video about this a long time ago

2020-02-03 17:49:02 UTC
